- All YLF programs are offered to qualified students regardless of race, color or faith.
- We accept students grades 3 through 10 from Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
- Students from any school (public, private, or charter) are eligible for YLF programs.
- Parents with special needs children are asked to call our offices to see if YLF is a good fit for your child.
Fall 2009 Program - October 9th
Program runs from September 26th - December 12th, 2009
Spring 2010 Program - January 29th
Program runs from January 30th - May 8th, 2010
Summer 2010 Program - **EXTENDED TO JUNE 18**
PALS program runs from June 28th - July 30th, 2010
TAP program runs from June 28th - August 6th, 2010
The procedure for registering is as follows:
Step 1 - Submit an Application. Applicants have the option of submitting an online application (link to the left) or a paper application (pdf). Please see our Contact page for mailing addresses and fax numbers.
Step 2 - Pay Program Fee. Upon receipt of your application, a program director will contact you to discuss program fees, including financial aid opportunities. The base tuition for the Fall and Spring programs is $100 for each program, and $225 for the Summer program.
- YLF accepts cash, checks, or money orders. No credit cards accepted.
- Please make all checks payable to "Youth Leadership Foundation."
Step 3 - Attend a Parent Orientation Session. All parents are required to attend an orientation session, or to call the YLF offices to set up an individual meeting. Times and locations of the Fall and Spring orientations will be provided in the registration packet.
