Join us on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at the beautiful Norbeck Country Club in Rockville, Maryland for the 2nd Annual Johnny Holliday Scholarship Classic. Funds raised will provide scholarships to the most disadvantaged students wishing to attend YLF’s academic and character building programs, and contribute to the Johnny Holliday Scholarship Fund which provides tuition assistance for students wishing to attend the University of Maryland. Norbeck Country Club Norbeck Country Club is a full-service, member owned club established in 1953. Located just 20 miles north of the Nation's Capital with convenient access to the metro area the club rests on 198 acres adjacent to Rock Creek Regional Park.. Designed by the respected Scottish-born Alfred H. Tull, the Norbeck Country Club golf course was opened for play in the summer of 1954. Course modifications over the years have been completed under the supervision of award-winning golf course architects such as Ed and Brian Ault and Arthur Hills. With its gently rolling bent grass fairways and small bent grass greens, the tree-lined layout has some of the most beautiful and challenging holes in the Montgomery County area. Stretching to just under 6900 yards from the championship tees, the course provides the expert player with a variety of challenges, yet is still a fair test to the average golfer with its four sets of tees.
