PROGRAM OVERVIEWEach of the three programs take place on Saturday mornings at the TAP building. Core activities include academics, sports, and character formation. The school year programs also include special guest speakers, parent seminars, service events, and excursions.
Unique to TAP and its sister program PALS is a merit-based program called "Character Counts." Throughout the semester, students can earn "character points" for good behavior, acts of service to others, or achieving goals they set for themselves. At the end of the program, students with the most points are rewarded with such prizes as tickets to various DC sporting events, yacht excursions, and trips to Six Flags.
